The big night for country music is here again! The 2024 CMT Awards will happen on Sunday night. It’s a night full of music and awards, all chosen by fans.
The awards show will be at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, just like last year.
Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and Megan Moroney have the most nominations, with three each. Some new nominees are Hozier, Koe Wetzel, Tyler Childers, and Zach Bryan.
Some of the nominees will perform on stage too.

Kelsea Ballerini Hosting 2024 CMT Awards
Kelsea Ballerini will host this year’s CMT Awards. It’s her first time hosting alone. Kelsea Ballerini co-hosted with Kane Brown in 2021 and 2023. In 2022, she joined remotely.
“I’m excited to host again with my CMT family in Austin, TX,” said Ballerini. “Celebrating fan-loved music is an honor. It’ll be an unforgettable night.”
2024 CMT Awards Performances
At the 2024 CMT Awards, you’ll see a mix of country music stars and new talents. Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, and more will grace the stage. Plus, there’s a surprise with some rock bands joining in.
The Lineup:
- Country Icons: Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Trisha Yearwood.
- Rising Stars: Parker McCollum, Brittney Spencer, Kelsea Ballerini, Bailey Zimmerman, Lainey Wilson, Sam Hunt, Dasha.
- Special Collaborations: Brooks & Dunn, Lainey Wilson, and Sammy Hagar will pay tribute to Toby Keith. Little Big Town and Sugarland will team up for a performance. Jordan Davis and rock band NEEDTOBREATHE have something unique after their “CMT Crossroads” session.
